Coming soon...biofeedback!

I will soon be adding new tool to my holistic psychotherapy practice - biofeedback!

I first became interested in this after a friend told me about how much she had been helped by biofeedback sessions she had experienced.

I had a session myself, and was amazed. The machine was able to identify some pretty specific events in my life - including that I had been born as a result of placental abruption - as well as various physical, emotional, and energetic issues that were out of balance.

The practitioner than had the machine run frequencies to me in order to balance those things that I needed assistance with.

I really felt great afterwards and was so impressed by the experience that I started researching various biofeedback systems.

The system that I purchased is one that I can use creatively in any way that I like...including by programming it with Zensight healing statements so that the system can identify which statements the client will most benefit from and then send the energetic vibrations of those statements, to the client.

Please watch for coming announcements about this - I expect to receive the system (which is being shipped to me from the US) in the next week or so and will be trying it out on friends and family as well as myself, in order to gain proficiency with it and then will be offering it to clients as well.

I am really excited about it, waiting for the system to arrive is kind of like waiting for Christmas morning for me!

Great Wolf Lodge

I just spent a wonderful weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls, ON for my son's 8th birthday.

If, like me, you love waterslides and waterparks, this is the place for you.

If you don't...well, you might want to steer clear of it. :)

My friend Linda and I brought my kids and each of my kids brought one friend. We stayed for one night and spent two days at the waterpark.

I am already making plans to go back again!

Getting Your Home in Order with Flylady

Do you find housework overwhelming, and/or neverending?

Do you find it difficult - or impossible! - to be organized at home?

You may want to check out the Flylady website.

"Flylady" has a wonderful cleaning system that she suggests where you basically spend 15 minute increments decluttering and cleaning.

You set a timer for 15 mins each day and then race the timer, decluttering and/or cleaning as quickly as you can.

This is something that at my house we try to get the whole family in on. After dinner, we set a timer for 15 mins and all of us race around tidying and cleaning.

It's really wonderful! It's amazing how much you can get done in such a short period of time, and it's much easier to face doing it when you know you are only going to do it for 15 mins at a time.

Flylady also suggests dividing the home into "zones" and has a schedule where each week you focus on decluttering a particular "zone" of the house (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, etc...).

For more information or to sign up for Flylady's free email reminders, please see www.FlyLady.net
