My new website...

I have set up a new website to have in addition to the Zensight website.

I've realized that local people - who may not previously have heard of energy work - may be overwhelmed and find that the Zensight website has "too much information" when really what they are looking is a therapist.

I also know that although many people might be apprehensive about the idea of energy work when they are not familiar with it, Zensight is very easily incorporated into any healing work. Even when I was working in a hospital setting I still was using energy work with at least 90% of my clients.

My new website for my clinical practice is www.MiltonTherapy.com

I am really excited about it, because I did it all by myself! Well...almost by myself. I have a wonderful website designer - Linda Chapman of Oklahoma - who created the Zensight website for me. Over the past few years I've taught myself bits and pieces along the way. She did field a few emails from me regarding some technical difficulties and was able to help me to figure out what was wrong.

Yesterday morning I decided I wanted a new website and by the time I went to bed last night I had created it and had it online.

I am still planning to do some more work on it, adding a video intro and modifying information about the therapy services I offer, but I'm pretty happy with it as a first attempt.

Volkswagen Jetta TDI

I am the proud owner of a new car - a Volkswagen Jetta TDI.

The Jetta TDI runs on diesel. I've never had a car with a diesel engine before!

Although diesel gas emission have more particles in it than natural gas does, the Jetta is extremely fuel efficient, so it is still considered a "green" car.

The other option we looked at was the Toyota Prius hybrid. However, most of the driving I do is highway driving and on the highway a Prius is not necessarily more efficient than a non-hybrid vehicle...and in fact is less fuel efficient than the Jetta TDI.

According to the manufacturer, the Jetta TDI can go up 1000 kms (or approximately 620 miles).

I look forward to testing this out as the same day that we bought the Jetta, I bought a tent trailer!

I've been wanting one for about 12 years and decided okay...this is the year! This was our other reason for getting the Jetta. The diesel engine enables it to pull a heavier weight, in spite of the car's small size.

My husband Kevin and I felt strongly that we did not want to get an SUV, minivan or a similar vehicle that was less fuel efficient.

I've had the Jetta for a week and have already put on about 600 km's and it still has about 1/3 of a tank of gas...so I'll soon see if Volkswagen's figures are accurate.
