Doggie Days at Toronto Blue Jays' Skydome!

Maggie, the baseball loving dog. Well....maybe Maggie, the baseball tolerating dog would be more accurate. But she did enjoy coming out with the rest of the family, rather than staying home!

On Sunday July 18th, my family and I brought Maggie to go see the Toronto Bluejays at the Skydome.

Every year the Skydome has "doggie day" baseball. A special section is designated for people who bring their dogs, to sit in, and a limited about of seating is available.

Proceeds from the event goes to the Toronto SPCA.

This year was their most well attended year yet, with seating in the dog section being completely sold out. 402 dogs were in attendance!

It is a really fun event, and it's always interesting looking at all of the different kinds of dogs. This year was our second year attending, and both years there were a number of dogs who howled along with enthusiasm to the national anthems, as well as one or two dogs who would bark repetively, whenever fans would clap - giving the impression that they were cheering right along with the other fans.
